Qualified and kept up to date
Each electrician on our team holds the current wiring regulations qualification (BS 7671, 18th Edition), the inspection and testing qualification and an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent time-served apprenticeship. When the regulations change, they retrain before the change takes effect. Our apprentices work alongside a qualified electrician and never sign off work on their own.
Vetted before they meet you
Everyone on the team has passed a DBS check, holds a current ECS card and drives a marked van. They carry photo identification and will show it before coming in. If you have booked through a letting agent or a care provider, we can send the names and card numbers of the attending electricians in advance.
Based in Canterbury, not passing through
We work from Fruitworks Coworking, which is why we can reach Harbledown, Rough Common, Wincheap, St Dunstan's and Thanington quickly and why the same electrician can come back if a job needs a second visit. Our office team answers the phone from 7am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and the 24-hour emergency line is answered by a person, not a recording.
How the visit runs
The electrician arrives in the agreed window, walks the job with you, explains what needs doing and confirms the fixed price before touching anything. Work is tested as it goes, the area is left clean, and you are shown what was done before the certificate is issued. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall, you are told before any extra work starts, and the price for it is agreed in writing.
Standards we hold ourselves to
We use British-terminology, plain-English explanations and no pressure selling. We will tell you when a job is not needed, including when PAT testing or an EICR is not a legal requirement for you. Every job is covered by our 12-month workmanship guarantee and our £5 million public liability insurance.
